Dynamic Theological Seminary has a rich and storied history that has significantly contributed to the field of theological education in the world. It is one of the fastest-growing Seminaries in the globe. It started with the vision of reforming the tainted unscriptural theology in the Body of Christ and thereby filling the visible lacuna and academic deficiencies in many frontlines seminaries and some conventional Universities in the world. It is a non-denominational Seminary by practice and teachings. Academic and non-academic staff are drawn from Frontline Churches and Pentecostal denominations.
The Seminary is currently in her mini property located at Stadium/ Ogume Road, Azunze, Kwale, Delta State, Nigeria. The idea and vision of the seminary were born in 2016 through the initiator Apostle Prof. Gold Sunday Chukwuemeka. But the dream officially came to limelight on the 14th of April 2019. The Seminary kick off at Number 5 Bazu Lane, Igwurutali-Alimini, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. In May 2019, the Seminary was relocated to Number 41, School Road, Igwuruta–Ali, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Admission into various programmes commenced in 2019. More so, in January 2021 the school was relocated again to Exceeding Breed International School, Alimini Igwurutali, Port Harcourt. After the meeting of the management on having a permanent campus, the school was relocated to her mini permanent site in Kwale, Delta State on the 3rd of October, 2022.
One of the defining characteristics of Dynamic Theological Seminary is its commitment to academic excellence and innovation. The seminary has consistently attracted renowned faculty members who are not only experts in their fields but also passionate about equipping the next generation of religious leaders. Through their guidance and mentorship, students at Dynamic Theological Seminary have been able to engage with complex theological concepts and develop a deep understanding of their faith.
However, to meet the demand of the Federal Government of Nigeria to an extent, the management of the Seminary saw the need to register the school with the Federal Government of Nigeria. On the 9th of September 2020, the Federal Government of Nigeria issued a Certificate of Incorporation to the Seminary with this registration number (RC 1717101).
On the 21st of April, 2021, the Seminary affiliated all her programmes to Harvest Bible University, Los Angeles, California, United States. This development took the institution to a greater height. DTS is currently under the accreditation of the affiliated institution. Besides, the Seminary has started the process of affiliating some of her programmes to some Nigerian universities, particularly the undergraduate programmes.
Dynamic Theological Seminary has also been a hub of spiritual formation and community engagement. The seminary has always emphasized the importance of holistic development, encouraging students to not only grow intellectually but also emotionally and spiritually. Through various extracurricular activities, retreats, and service opportunities, students have been able to cultivate a strong sense of purpose and calling, preparing them to make a meaningful impact in the world.
Furthermore, Dynamic Theological Seminary has continually adapted its curriculum to address the evolving needs of the global religious landscape. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SEMINARY
The purpose of Dynamic Theological Seminary is to train men and women of God to fulfil their spiritual assignments and mandates in the Body of Christ. As a graduate and post-graduate institution, the Seminary affirms the Bible as God’s written word, infallible, and authoritative rule for faith and conduct. The seminary, however, seeks to achieve the following aims and objectives:
1 To teach students how to raise heavenly-bound Christians who will take holiness and righteousness as a lifestyle.
2 To teach students how to take the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all the countries of the world through various means in their capacity.
3 To raise men and women of God to a higher spiritual academic level through affordable means.
4 To teach students how to build an aggressive end-time army for the Lord.
5 To teach students how to free various Christians who are victims of False Brethren, False Pastors, False Apostles, False Prophets and False Bishops.
6 To teach students how to build up a mobile prayer eagle on the continents.
7 To teach students how to revive the church of God and as well restore the true worship of God in the globe.
8 To commission and ordain Christian workers through the affiliated Church as either Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Pastor, Bishop, Evangelist, Music Minister, Deacon or Deaconess with the aim of spreading the Gospel to various places of the world.
9 To lead every student into a growing knowledge of God, based on the Lord Jesus Christ.
10 To encourage and promote scholarship around the globe, particularly the Arab Nations.
11 To research in various areas that are relevant to the Body of Christ.
13 To give Theological, Biblical and Ministerial Professorial positions to qualified lecturers of the school.
14 To award Honorary Professor to Ordained men of God who have a PhD and as well published articles in reputable Local and International Journals.
15 To award Honorary Degrees to Christians who have contributed to the body of Christ and also to the school.
16 DTS curriculum is also designed to produce Christians who are knowledgeable, fully equipped and committed to taking the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to more than 180 countries of the world. In a related, development it is the vision of the Seminary to have campuses in more than 180 countries of the world with more than 10,000 lecturers.
17 It is also the aim of DTS to teach students how to preach the gospel through offline and online methods.
18 The Seminary is set for New Church Reformation through teachings from DTS lecturers.
